NOTE: If you want to play a local-coop game that you didn't buy on steam, you can manual add it to your Steam game list, and this trick will still work!ĮDIT: I just want to point out that even though this is all harmless and not illegal or anything crazy like that, it is technically not allowed in Steam. I don't do reddit very often, but I know this drove me fucking CRAZY, so I wanted to help all you coop fans out. Once the game is closed, you will automatically disconnect, and if you need to tweak it, you just rinse and repeat. Once we did that, he said it practically felt like he was playing it on his PC locally. One thing we did to get rid of Pixelation problems was to limit the bandwidth to 5mb/s. If you have any issues with blurriness or the game being pixelated, just tweak the settings within steam. Alt-Tab on the Host computer to unmute your speakers (the streaming causing it to auto-mute on host side), and then you are golden. Just hit that button, and then you're pretty much done.ĥ. Now, its as simple as selecting The Binding of Isaac (or ANY Local Co-op Game!) and starting it up.Ĥ.The client should see a STREAM button when selecting The Binding of Isaac where he would normally see a PLAY button. If you can't there was an issue on Hamachi (try to remake the network/check firewall settings), or you did it in the wrong order. Just make sure all the basic options you need are selected, and make sure you can see eachother on the list. Once logged in, each of you will go to the Steam>Settings>In-Home Streaming. Keep in mind that this HAS to be the last step.if you do it in any other order or if steam was already logged in on either account, it will not you both on the same network until you relog. Now, both of you will log into the Host's Steam account.

The Client will go into Hamachi and select Network>Join an Existing Network, and then type in whatever name you used.ģ. Once that's done, the host will go into Hamachi and select Network>Create a new Network. Download Hamachi (We tried others like it, and nothing was nearly as easy to set up, and stable to use). We had used Nvidia Stream, but ran into the problems listed above, so here's the solution.ġ.

I do want to stress that the way of doing this REQUIRES you to know and trust eachother, or else this simply will not work.

Works with ANY Local-Coop game (that we've tried so far)

Hey guys, I just wanted to post this up here because it took me and my buddy FOREVER to figure out a fully-easy-working local-coop online that has: (This is for the newest version with local co-op, of course.)
